Dianne Walter spent her childhood years running wild over the hills of the Central California coast, usually pretending to be a horse. Her passion for the natural world and love for all animals grew into a career focused on preserving wilderness areas and promoting sustainable living. Although she has written many essays and Native American myth-based fables, The Tiger’s Eye is her first novel. She has also completed The Glass Bear and Sarenna's Key, the second and third novels in the Anna's Worlds series. These two books are being prepared for publication and will be available in the not too distant future. Dianne now lives in Southern California where bears, coyotes and mountain lions are regular visitors to her neighborhood.
