Link the Otter
Link is a mischievous little otter from Thera who is devoted to Anna and goes with her everywhere. He is very similar to the American river otter except that he is a little smaller, weighing only about ten pounds. He is just as full of fun and loves playing in any kind of water. He is also a great fisherman and has helped Anna and her friends out by catching dinner for them many times. Of course, you have to balance that against all the trouble he gets into. He just can’t resist poking his nose into everything and often has to be rescued. But Anna loves him dearly and wouldn’t dream of leaving him behind on her adventures.
The Lady of Light
Earth’s sister planet, Thera, is a place of magic and mystery, great good and great evil. Two great beings represent these polar opposites, The Lady of Light and The Dark Lord. Who they really are and how they came to be on Thera are tales lost in the mists of legend. The Lady of Light brings love and goodness to all around her. The Dark Lord thrives on terror and evil. They are like the two halves of a whole, yin and yang. Their blending is the creative force of all life. Yet the Dark Lord constantly struggles to escape this vital balance. If he succeeds, both Earth and Thera and all life face chaos and death.

Naida, the Great Theran War-Mare
Naida is the leader of a great race of Theran horses, known for their fierceness, bravery and dedication to helping the Lady of Light maintain the balance between darkness and light on Thera. She may look like a beautiful, silver horse from Earth but she is much more. First, she is much larger than Earth horses, standing over twenty hands tall. Her hooves are as strong as iron and as sharp as knives. She can run faster than any being on Thera and never tires. Her intelligence and spirit are legendary. She is a formidable enemy to any who bring harm to Thera or Earth and is a devoted friend to Anna.




















Ancient Ways
Great civilizations have risen and fallen on Thera, over many thousands of years. Jungles and forests reclaim ancient cities leaving few reminders of their passing. But, there are still places, built by the ancients where magic endures, gateways to other worlds, hidden doorways to Theran secrets, mysteries and danger.












Gowan, Lord of Eagles
When Anna first went to Earth’s magical sister planet, Thera, she met several Theran lords who pledged to assist her to defeat the Dark Lord. Gowan, the greatest of the Theran eagles was one of the first to come to her aid. He risked his life when he followed Anna back to Earth and paid a terrible price for his bravery. The skies of Earth are not kind to wildlife, where people with guns think it is a “sport” to shoot and kill these magnificent birds.
